Exit 28

Every town seems to have a place where you can stop and put your car in neutral and it will roll backwards uphill. This is what happens at exit 28 off of I-26 E/US-19W S/US-23 S., and some blame the curiosity on a man who died here and believe he is trying to push your car away from potential danger. In reality, this is what is called a gravity hill. It is a convincing optical illusion because the exit actually slants uphill.
