Prospect Hill Bed and Breakfast

In The Marble and Other Ghost Tales of Tennessee and Virginia, Joe Tennis retells the legend of the ghosts of Prospect Hill Bed and Breakfast, formerly the Wagner-Rambo House. The elegant home was built in 1889 by Joseph Wagner, and then bought by the Rambo Family in 1910. In 1999, Robert and Judy Hotchkiss bought the house and remodeled it. Guests have reported the laundry room door slamming shut of its own accord, apparitions, phantom smells and the distinctive cry of a phantom infant.
