Keith Hollow

In Hometown Memories: Squirrel Gravy and Feed Sack Underwear: Tales from the Good Old Days in the Eastern Tennessee Mountains by Bob Lasley and Sallie Holt Jennifer Briggs tells of a ghost baby sometimes heard in an uninhabited hollow off of North Higgins Creek Road in Flag Pond.
In an article entitled “Mysteries of Keith Hollow,” she tells that hunters in the deserted hollow often hear what sounds like a baby crying. If they follow if the sound, they’re surprised to hear the crying coming from a completely different location in the woods.
