During the Cholera Epidemic of 1873, 60% of the citizens came down with the disease and it was used as a morgue. With such a morbid history, it is no wonder someone has experienced something supernatural while working there. One waitress recalls an encounter with a specter in the basement. As soon as she had descended the stairs, she met face to face with a man dressed in very dated clothing. He was as stiff as a board and his face was expressionless. Assuming he was a new employee taking an unscheduled break, she excused herself. Later, she asked the owner about the man in the costume but he had no clue who she was talking about!
