There is a portrait hanging in the entrance of John M. Reed Nursing Home in Limestone, Tennessee of the building’s namesake. The portrait, however, is not the only thing keeping him memory alive. Numerous medical professionals have reported seeing his image and hearing doors open and close. They take solace, however, knowing that Mr. Reed is still making sure things are running smoothly and patients are being taken care of, even after all of these years.
