Cave House

The paranormal activity in the cave house has been documented in Donnamarie Emmert’s 2004 booklet Haunted Historic Abingdon, Volume 1 and Donna Gayle Akers’ 2005 book Legends, Stories and Ghostly Tales of Abingdon and Washington County, Virginia. Both say that employees have heard footsteps and the sound of furniture being moved on the second floor when no one was on the second floor.
