In his 2002 book Pioneers in Paradise: Legends and Stories from Bristol Tennessee/Virginia, author V. N. “Bud” Phillips writes that the Minor House on Lee Street in Bristol, Virginia is still visited by its namesake. His image, complete with old-timey medicine bag, is occasionally seen walking up the stairs to his old bedroom where at certain times the sound of a flute can be heard.
