In 1878, James C. and David C. Greenway and Thomas Preston Trigg built their businesses (today the building is owned by photographer Dean Barr). The Greenways and Thomas never got along, so their business were actually two halves, mirror images of one another and only sharing a front porch. The building at 152 East Main Street seems to have at least three ghosts:

A “lady in white” who drifts about the building, but never makes a sound.

A gentleman dressed in very nice, but dated, clothing. 1, 2

An old, African American lady dressed in starched whites, believed to have once been a servant when the lot was a residential home, allegedly stands half in the shadows of the front door. Whenever someone tries to speak with her, she turns and goes inside, and if the person follows, they find she has vanished. 3
