This diner on 301 East Main Street in downtown Abingdon, Virginia was built in 1901 and has been a general store, a bicycle shop, a pool hall and a gambling hall. The strange occurrences that happen here, such as the ice shovel rocketing across the room off the top of the icemaker are blamed on spirits who probably died here when the establishment was used for gambling, backed up by the apparition of a male ghost. 1
