Edmondson Hall on Lindell Road in Meadowview was built in 1856 by the wealthy William Campbell Edmondson on 383 acres of land, along with two slave quarters. Before the Salyer Family bought the home, there were stories of finding infant bones in the attic, being chased by a ghostly horse in the backyard, and a ghostly woman rocking in a chair in one of the bedrooms. Nonetheless, the house is one of the most haunted places in the county. Cold spots often appear, peoples hair is pulled, noises come from upstairs when no one else is there, a young girl often appears in white, twin young adult girls appear in the dining room, and an adult woman sometimes appears in the bedroom. 1

This house is privately owned and occupied.
